A few things to consider when implementing a recycling plan in your office:

Recycle Paper boxes on each desk:

All recyclable paper is kept in a separate, special box on or under each desk. This paper is then removed to a special Paper Bin.

“Wet" Rubbish placed in one, pre-specified bin only:

We suggest the kitchen in is the only bin into which "wet" rubbish is placed (ie: food scraps, disposable coffee cups etc).  This then means only the kitchen liner needs to be changed each time, rather than every bin under every desk, which reduces the amount of plastic going into landfills, and means less bin liners purchased, less costs for your business

Separate bins for Paper Only and "Co-mingled" bins:

"Co-mingled" refers to recyclable plastics, bottles, glass and cardboard.

We can supply specific wheelie bins either 120 or 240 litre, which can be emptied as required. 

Keep Prohibited and Hazardous wastes separate, and dispose of safely:

We can arrange for the separate removal and safe destruction of such wastes.  If you are not sure what constitutes prohibited and hazardous rubbish, please contact us.

Use Recycled Washroom Consumables:

Choose recycled products which have a high post-consumer waste content.

Our paper products are 100% recycled, using 80% post-consumer waste-content.  These products are WHITE (not grey or brown!) while remaining incredibly soft for those delicate areas! 

No chlorine or any harsh chemicals have been used in the “whitening” process of these products.

All our washroom products have been approved and are listed by the Ministry for the Environment in accordance with the Govt³ initiative.

Use of Recycled Paper in everyday office use:

There are a great range of recycled paper products, from A4 paper to note pads, available from stationary stockists.  Cut down in the amount of printing done – does that email really need to be printed?

Update your database and email all your invoices, statements, flyers, marketing etc rather than print and post – you will not only save money in printing and paper costs, but also in postage!
